Tallinn Dance Theatre (TDT) was founded in late 2009. At first it showcased its creators work, but it has since expanded and invites choreographers with distinct approaches and interests in theatrical trends to stage performances. All TDT productions emphasise the dancers – their physical capabilities and peculiarities and their range of emotions. Besides performing, TDT cooperates with various organisations (Tallinn Philarmonic Society etc), organizes workshops and master classes and takes an active role in the evolution of contemporary dance life.
