Alexela Loomelava is an inspiring performance venue on the banks on the River Emajõgi in Tartu. It provides a year-round culture programme, trainings, internships, workshops and thematic discussions. Loomelava welcomes visiting performances but also has its own resident dance company Tempecy Dance Company, which stages a few new productions every year.
Alexela Loomelava’s activities are coordinated by MTÜ Tartu Tantsuakadeemia. The small theatre’s focus is on the art of dance in its broadest meaning.
