At Toronto airport Sam Hendrix meets a desperate woman and at her request takes a china doll across the Canada-USA border – a gift to the woman’s sick child. The trusting Sam has no idea that the doll is filled with heroin, and that soon a group of cold-blooded criminals turn up at his flat in New York. The door is opened by his blind and unsuspecting wife Susy, who is alone at home.
