Spring. A regiment of soldiers arrives in a small town and livens it up no end.
There is suddenly so much to dream, think and suffer about... There are so many people, lives and destinies. So much love. So strong a yearning to leave, being convinced that happiness lies elsewhere.
In Moscow? Or in three hundred years time? Or where the regiment proceeds next?
If we only knew for certain...

Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters is back on the stage of Ugala theatre after a gap of twenty years. During these years other of his plays have been staged, such as The Cherry Orchard, Uncle Vanya and even two Seagulls. Plus Three Glasses of Cherry Vodka, a collection of his short stories, a biographical fantasy Chekhov in Yalta, and The Yalta Game interpreting his work. Now again Three Sisters. The cycle is full.
