The evergreen animal tales of Joel Chandler Harris have found a new outlet in Urmas Lennuk's dramatisation. The mischievous forest life is supervised by the director Jaanika Juhanson. In the role of Mr Rabbit we see Toomas Suuman, and Mister Fox is played by Margus Grosnõi. The rest of the cast: Helgi Annast, Volli Käro and Erik Ruus and Indrek Apinis as a guest. The playful and colourful stage world was created by artist Mihkel Ehala, lighting Priidu Adlas and costumes Liisa Soolepp. Author of the original music and sound designer is Tarmo Kesküll.

"These are funny stories that certainly left their imprint on my own childhood," recalls the director Jaanika Juhanson. "Our production has all the best known incidents and the favourite quotations, although I hope there are pleasant surprises for even the most seasoned fans. In addition to children, adults should find something in the production as well. For example the idea that even if you fancy the others' chicken, or burn the hairs on their back, there are still moments when everybody sits companionably by the cream toffee pot and finally - in the words of Mr Rabbit - it's so good that good is good. Good is good and bad is bad!"
