A children's musical in two acts. Iti and Kusti are lost in the forest and run into the Woods Crone house. They are forced to do hard work and take care of the small Imp. The story is loved by whole generations of Estonian children.

"Nukitsamees" (The Imp) by Oskar Luts belongs to Estonian children's literature classics and was made into a film in 1981 by Helle Karis. Olav Ehala wrote the music for the film and in 1999 the children's musical reached the stage of the Estonian National Opera. The songs of "Nukitsamees" (The Imp) are well known and loved – "Päikeseratas", "Valulaul" and "Kodulaul" have been featured in several song festival programmes.
