A small trawler from Iceland. A metal box swaying at the mercy of waves. For the crew the small trawler is at the same time a home, a prison, and the world. They hope to get a big catch, entertainment from watching videos and playing cards, and they are frightened by the indicisiveness of the captain. Living like this for weeks can easily become unbearable, it brings forth people's pain and dreams.

Jón Atli Jónasson who has himself worked on a trawler describes the life of the fishermen realistically, heartily and harshly, with sorrow and joy.

Jónasson - on of the most popular Icelandic playwrights today - has also been to Tallinn visiting the international theatre festival Midwinter Night's Dream 2006 organised by the Tallinn City Theatre. During the festival a theatre troupe from Iceland, Frú Emilia performes Jónasson's play A Hundred Year-Old House. A public meeting with the author also took place.
