This is visual theatre, based on tradition, reflecting the cultural and social identity of the community of Võru County. This production is based on essential activities of everyday life: potato harvest, making moonshine, weddings, sheep slaughter, building a shingle roof, sauna, and funerals. This is a world we have inherited. In a new form.

The idea was born from the short production The rituals of Võrumaa. Sheep Slaughter, which premiered in 2005. In 2007 a longer production was made and now the audience can see it in a new, extended open-air version performed at Suur Munamägi in August 2008.

Tickets (100/80) available by booking from 1 July at the box office of Võru Community Centre Kannel (Information: 78 68676, www.vorukannel.ee), also at Piletilevi (www.piletilevi.ee) and an hour before the beginning on site.
