Public space and choreography residency: conversation-walk “Who is discriminated by public toilets and monuments?"

Author:
Kati Ots
lavastus-pic

The lecture series "Public Space and Choreography" of the 2021/22 season at Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava explores the connections between public space and choreography. How the environment around us forms a meaningful space; what new attitudes and relationships can emerge from existing places; how can choreography influence and conceptualise public space; what are the choreographies of urban space – these are just some of the questions that arose in us due to the current social insecurity and the chaotic theatre season.

The lecture with Kati Ots takes place on June 20th as a conversation-walk, “Who is discriminated by public toilets and monuments?", starting from Tallinn Freedom Square.
