Pericles is a play written by William Shakespeare. The play tells a story about how a kind heart, the right choices, and determination will bring the goddess to you. Pericles is the young prince of Tyre. He will be put to test in royal intrigues, fatal shipwrecks, hopeless situations, and abandonment by the gods but his pursuit of happiness is still persistent. He does not dream of merely good life and purposeless pleasure - he dreams of absolute love and the touch of a goddess.

Tiit Ojasoo's production is about how beauty and happiness can be reached through will and determination. The impossible becomes possible, legless people dance and hopeless people sing. The sweat pours, but the purpose is not lost. These people make their own dreams.

This is a fairy tale and Estonia, but it is also Bollywood and silk, gods and whores, the smiles of women and songs of men. The stage design and costumes by Ene-Liis Semper derive inspiration from different sources, including memories of India. Musical design by Chalice.

Leading role: Risto Kübar, other roles played by Mirtel Pohla, Tambet Tuisk, Gert Raudsep, Sergo Vares, Inga Salurand, Rasmus Kaljujärv, Lenna Kuurmaa (guest), Marika Vaarik (guest), and Andres Mähar.
