At the center of the events is a love triangle formed by a famous actress, her aristocratic admirer and former lover. The music of the Italian composer Francesco Ciléa turns a true historical drama into a colorful opera, which is pure pleasure to watch.

The opera is directed by Gjorgji Petrusevski and Dejan Proshev, the latter of whom is the artistic director of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet Theater. Among the soloists is Vitaly Kovalchuk, who performed at the opera festival "Arena di Verona", and the leading baritone of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater Steponas Zonys. Adriana is played by soprano Julija Karaliūnaitė.

Francesco Ciléa’s opera Adriana Lecouvreur will be presented on the stage of the Narva Opera Days in collaboration with the NB8 ART group.

The opera consists of four acts with an intermission. Performed in Italian.
