She She Pop turns the theatre stage into a ballroom, a place of great anticipations, secret desires and hidden plans, old and new strategies and their spectacular staging. Every dancer is caught in a role which might have been carefully designed and rehearsed, but whose fate will unfold beyond their individual control each night. The dancefloor is a pitfall for all our pathetically exaggerated expectations.
The audience may watch and wait, they may ask for a dance themselves, they may fall in love with a stranger or hold back discretely. Whatever they decide to do - involved in close encounters on the dancefloor or watching the performers' confessions outside in the video lounge - they will become participating witnesses of hopeless situations and glorious triumphs.
