A fairy tale Pig-Man Simeon for children.
Once upon a time a child was born in a family, but in a way this child was not a real child. He could talk and think like a human being but he looked like a pig. Of course his life was not easy because nobody is used to playing hide-and-seek or building a hut with a pig, let alone falling in love with the pig-boy. Still the time came when there was a BIG change in his life ...

The gates of the abbey will be opened for the audience to study the life of medieval monks before the performance A Journey to the Realm of Light.

St Bernard is regarded as the founder, or rather the one who supported the birth of the Cistercian Order, and the Cistercians are often called Bernardines. The first Cistercian abbey in the Baltic countries was founded in 1205 on the right bank of river Daugava and it was named Dünamünde abbey. Padise abbey is a descendant of Dünamünde.
St Bernard has said: "Death is the gate to life."

The day continues in the abbey as well as around it. You can taste the dishes of the abbey kitchen and the farm food outside the abbey, also taste and buy herb extracts.

There is also a campsite.
